BLUE MOON ESSAY - Miss Miranda was delighted with her new boyfriend, Sir Richard Pedigrew. Her new beau was young, rich and handsome. Pedigrew lived at Whippingham, a palatial estate just outside London. There Pettigrew housed his pride and joy, the world's third largest private collection of riding crops. One matter did perplex Miss Miranda. What use could Mr. Pettigrew have for all those riding crops when he didn't own a single horse? During a week long visit, her first, to Whippingham Estate, the unfortunate Miss Miranda discovered to her dismay what the riding crops were used for. Throughout her stay, she was sorely distressed.
